Sneak Peek Day 2 – Afternoon Presentations

Our afternoon started with a cupcake and a song and dance number from BoBunny introducing their “sweet” summer releases. They have some stunning full color rub-ons, which is something you don’t see often. I also think their Note Worthy mini-books are darling. The presenter said she always keeps one in her purse and uses it as a note-pad, which is a fun idea.

Cosmo Cricket previewed two new lines for us – Mitten Weather and Pixielicious. Pixielicious is sort of soft jewel tones and cute fairies. Mitten Weather is everything winter in traditional greens and reds mixed with some surprising lavender and blue!

Doodle Bug Check other blog posts for pics of their new lines – Spooky Town, Happy Holidays, Bon Appetit, and Welcome Home. Brooke ordered the whole line, so we’ll be seeing this all soon!

10 Second Studios This is a really neat metal product that you can use for so much! I’ll try to link a website for you when I’m at the laptop later.

Sneak Peek Day 2 Morning Session – Continued

That last post got sent a little early – who put the “send” button right next to the “save draft” button? Anyway, on with the show.

Making Memories has a new jewelry making line – check their Vintage Groove Facebook page or google it please – Brooke wants to know if you want to see jewelry supplies in the store, so please comment and let us know! She would offer classes if you’re interested.

K1 Memories ooooh love me some glitter! And K1′s stays where it belongs – on the page. They have to-die-for glitter paper, stickers, and sticky borders. These will really make your pages pop. A lot of their products are designed with calendaring in mind – we have some great ideas for using these!

Art Gone Wild represents several product lines. Right this minute we’re perusing the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz collection. He is a phenomenal artist and I’ve never used a product with his name on it that I didn’t love. And OMG he just walked into the building! I think I’m having heart palpitations!!

Echo Park This is a brand new company – you’ve seen their Sweet Summertime and Walk in the Park lines in the front of the store. Here’s a not-so-secret about me: I LOVE Halloween. And let me tell you this – their Halloween line is super-fabulous! In fact I just poked Brooke so many times she has promised to bring it in (update – she turned in the order form already! Woohoo!).

Tim Holtz Tim works with a lot of companies, so he had a long presentation where he talked about all kinds of Tim Holtz goodness. There’s so much goodness, in fact, that I’m just going to tell you I love everything I saw! Tim is ultimately a crafter, so when he puts his name on a product it has to be something he wants to use. A lot of his products are designed to be used with his other products, so they’re very versatile – he says “It’s about using what you have.” In addition to being an amazing artist, Tim is soooo cute and very funny. The whole trip was worth it just to see him! As a crafter myself, I will say that I have never used a Tim Holtz product I didn’t love. The most exciting thing, however, is that we scored an exclusive video interview with him! We’ll post it as soon as we can – it’s great stuff.

That ended our morning session. We’ll be back after lunch to tell you about even more new and exciting crafting goodies!

Sneak Peek – Day 2

Brooke and I are up bright and early and back at the convention center to continue the sneak peek event.

First up this morning is Hampton Arts. They have a wide variety of products including a lot of rubber stamps. Some of them are designed to coordinate with the Graphic 45 lines we saw yesterday – remember my new favorite from last night? One of the great things about Hampton is that they have some low-priced lines that would make super mom-n-me projects.

Making Memories introduced the Slice Elite! It now comes ready to use out of the box – no more pesky blade adjustments. It also cuts twice as deep, so you can cut fabric, felt, and thick cardstock with ease.
