New Colors of Twinkling H2Os! And Other Good Stuff

image

For the first time in 3 years, Luminarte has released new colors! 30 luscious, shimmery new shades, and Brooke is ordering each and every one! If you’re already familiar with these, I know you’ll just come in and buy them. If not, you really need to visit the store and check them out!
She’s also ordering the full line of the new Radiant Rain pourables and of the daubers. Mmmmmm can’t wait for this to come in!

Then we got to the paper. They have special paper designed to work with the Luminarte products, and Brooke is really stocking up. This is some gorgeous stuff, and it’s going to really let you stretch your creativity.

Fabscraps is fairly new to the US. They’re a South African company, and let me tell you…their stuff is to die for! I couldn’t get good pics of the papers, but I got some shots of finished projects for you to enjoy. The purple purse is actually a chipboard photo album!

This is the "spinny thing" you can make with the template

The Smash Book people! Brooke ordered lots more Smash. Yay! The rack pictured above should arrive in October.
Martha Stewart has a cool new item called party templates. You can cut paper lanterns and spinny things. See the other picture.
Otherwise, mostly stickers and other embellishments. Looks like fun stuff!

Brooke placed a big Graphic 45 order. There are no words that can adequately describe these wonderful things, so I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

Our First Order Is In!

image

image

As I write this, Brooke is talking to a Heartfelt rep to place our first order. Heartfelt partners with Spellbinder to produce beautiful rubber stamps that coordinate with Spellbinder dies (some of them even coordinate with the Donna Salazar line of dies released last winter). Talk about adding texture to your creations!  These products will let you create 3D flowers galore. Brooke also picked up some of the beautiful cardinal stamps and she’s already planning the Christmas Card class. One of the things I like is the versatile look of these stamps. All of them would be gorgeous if colored in a traditional style, but they would be really easy to grunge up too!

CKC 2010

What a fun couple of days!  Lots of shopping, classes, and – best of all – Brooke had the chance to give away some prizes. The teal shirts really stood out, and we heard from several vendors that they had seen you guys everywhere.

Brooke and I spent several hours wandering the floor, looking at all of the stuff on sale. Although I didn’t find much I couldn’t live without, I know some of you found all kinds of goodies. What did you see that you really loved?

I also didn’t take any classes, but I’m curious to know what the rest of you learned. Anything new and fabulous?

And for those of you who couldn’t make it, just know you really missed out and plan to go next year!
